Sotto is a privacy-first voice memory app. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app and how your data is handled.
Sotto stores your memories locally on your device.
This includes:
All stored memories are encrypted locally using SQLCipher.
Sotto does not permanently store your audio recordings. Audio files are temporary and are automatically deleted after processing.
If you choose Accurate mode, your voice recording is securely sent to Groq for speech transcription and AI-powered memory organization.
Groq provides Zero Data Retention (ZDR) for supported APIs. Audio and text are processed only to generate your transcription and structured memory and are not retained or used for model training.

If you choose Offline mode, transcription is performed entirely on your device using Vosk.
No audio, transcript, or memory content is transmitted over the internet.

No microphone data is recorded unless you explicitly start recording.
Your memories remain on your device.
You can permanently delete memories at any time within the app or by uninstalling Sotto, which removes all locally stored app data.
Sotto is intended for adults and is not directed toward children.
